Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga is a Tantric Yoga, the oldest yoga known. It’s an integral discipline where all types of yoga come together. Kundalini Yoga dates from the prearios time, from the advanced Indo Civilization (born around 4000 B.C. on the banks of the river Indo). At that time nature was worshipped with intelligence and intuition. |
During the lessons, of an hour and a half, you’ll learn to breath consciously (pranayama), to release the body by practicing kriyas or sets of dynamic postures (asanas), focusing the attention on a specific point, maintaining the hands in a certain way (mudras) and with some muscle contractions (bandas). Silencing the mind with the chant of mantras (sounds), loosing tensions with the relaxation and gaining serenity with the meditation.Kundalini Yoga was rediscovered 500 years ago by Guru Nanak and Yogui Bajhan brought it to the west in 1968. |
Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic and vital yoga that works with all the aspects of the human being, transforming it inside and outside. It also balances the nervous system, related to the capacity of focusing the attention and intention on stressful situations. The endocrine system, related to intuition (pituitary gland) and knowledge (pineal gland); the digestive system which represents the assimilation of any situation, and the depurative systems ( kidney, bile, sweat, exhalation,...) which are essential to cleanse and renovate the body. While doing the kriya the immense pranic energy (Kundalini) located in the low chakras, where the universal instinct of the human race is, goes up to the top energetic centers (love, communication, intuition and wisdom). Individual conscience becomes supra-conscience. Thus, the person connects with her own identity. The continued practice of Kundalini Yoga awakes the creative energy, the highest human potential, giving effectiveness, inspiration, vitality and positivity. Another effect is antidepressant consequence in the mind as it throws light on painful or suffering states. |
